I like the brighter character of the Masterclass regular in this test, but that's just me. I've tried the Double Wound and they FEEL fabulous, but they are "darker" sounding strings. So, if you have a fingerstyle player, and have brighter guitar using nails and a heavy attack- you would probably love them.

With the fingerpicking i really prefered the double wounded. Like with anything, it really depends on what youre going for and context.

Thanks for doing this demo,
I now know that double wound is not for me as it suppresses liveness of strings
