Makes me think of Bruckner Symphony number 9

Das ist absolut fantastisch!!!! Man sagt, Karajan machte Musik, Bernstein WAR Musik. ❤

A symphony written by a dying man and conducted by a dying man and both rise to the heights. This is why we love music because sometime the heights can be reached. Its hard to believe the only other Bruckner he conducted was the 6th sym.

Vision of the infinite. I saw this live at the Barbican with LSO in 1995 and couldn't talk all the way home.

How did this come from a human's mind? This piece is beyond music, it gives me certain images and feelings

This is one of my favorite symphonies conducted by one of the greatest musicians of all time. The contrasting thems within this piece are amazing and Bernstein captures that contrast in his outstanding conducting abilities.

This is wonderful. Powerful eloquence. Bernstein, Bruckner...we're lucky to hear them still.

Maybe there is something special about a Ninth Symphony. What a fantastic tribute to Bruckner. The end of the Adagio is so beautiful.

Making this available with ads is optional. Removing them is divine. Leaving them in is infernal.

From 8:10 to 11:28, it reminds me of my childhood. The early summer nights were when we used to stay at my grandma's house in Rawanduz (a small beautiful town located in the southern Kurdistan), sleeping on the mud house's roof staring at the vast brilliant universe of stars laying in front of me, making up stories out of these stars. I could see the heros and the magical creatures from the Kurdish folk tales my grandma used to tell me every night, I could see them moving, dancing, and adventuring through stars.

Today, I've grown up. I'm a different person who went through many traumas and hard times. The house is not the same, it's modernised. The roof is no longer mud but concrete. My beloved grandma is no longer there. The air is polluted, and my eyesight is shit, I can't see stars properly.

This symphony is beyond human limits. It's open you up for new feelings and let you feel the beautiful old forgotten you. Thank you, dear Bruckner.
