So I guess unemployed by choice, 55, COPD and asthma, I stopped working at a convenience store by choice because I do not want to get sick. Paranoid maybe but better to fight from home than a hospital bed.

No. Carwash is not essential. Wash your cars at home. Plenty of time for that.
If more people don't start following the guidelines, more officers will get sick. Then they close down even more locations and tighten up travel restrictions

Does that rather brief temperature check of the forehead work? Maybe I bought a cheap one but my digital thermometer takes time to read and that particular location does not deliver the hottest temperature on the head. Maybe the tester needs better training and told to be more attentive rather than just point and click.

ARGGGH... No social distancing in lines. Suppose the last person in line is infections and infects the one in front of him. Will that person then infect the next, like dominos falling.
