How to FIND Hidden Jobs

In this video, I'll show you how to apply to unadvertised and unposted jobs and how to write a prospecting cover letter that professionally introduces you to a prospective company. Applying to unadvertised jobs takes more time because you have to do your research and with a high degree of accuracy, send your cover letter to the right person. Your prospecting cover letter must be written in a way that sells you and generates interest in the results you can deliver.

Hey Don, great advice and your Complete Interview Answer Book has been gold for me personally. 10 years ago, I met a gentleman that promoted the same method except instead of an email, he advised mailing a personal letter (no resume) or what he called a value letter to potential employers.

Fast forward 10 years that method has been the best in tapping the hidden job market versus applying and waiting. Kudos in discussing this method. It gets so overlooked.

I like the way you speak, and use your hands. It's a good example. I taught English in Asia and I was begging my students to put some life into their English. But me on a Zoom interview can't follow my own advice. Maybe all the film acting classes I took for years as I befriended the teacher, in film you are supposed to make small subtle movements, but in person I'm lively. I need to be me during the interview. If I watch anymore of your videos maybe it'll rub off on me.

Hi Don, I am a 55 year old white male from South Africa. We have a Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment laws here, which is effectively pure racism in reverse. It is very difficult for us to get any kind of decent employment here. I went after a particular job 3 weeks ago, for an Operations Management position in a brand new industry (never having veered from the industry i have worked in for 35 years and have always been mostly in sales). On examination of the company and believing I could do the job; I really wanted this position. So, I went to work on preparing properly for the interview. I watched many of your videos and found them to be tremendously helpful. I just got news that I got the job. I am sooo pleased and am grateful to you for the help.
