100% true, I live 15 years in African countries. And they respect each other so must. They greet everyone. In India despite of having Ancient heritage and traditions we see each other like enemies

Basic grooming ka fark hai.
Hamare yaha 80% parents apne baccho ko social mannerisms nahi sikhaate tabhi public mein kachra fekna aur thookna vagairah bahut common hai.

People in india open the door for other, others will treat like door opener is giving the services to them and they are paying for that.. specially in the appartments, people don't even wish others hello in day to day life.

I remember when i used to offer my seat to a lady passenger on a crowded bus they used to look at me like 🙄😒...so decided to either give them to a senior citizen or not to offer to anybody else.

Foreigners says indian people are nice and helpful...
And they are generally... But we lack basic mannerisms,
All the nicety is towards foreigners.
I always Thank people for holding a door for me.
Never anyone have kept a door open for me.
And never i have been thanked.
