What would happen if a blob of mud or insects suddenly cover the radar while the cruise control is on? Or if a stone breaks it while it's on?
Really like the bike now, this would certainly be the first bike in my list if I was choosing a big new adventure bike.

One thing that i always loved about KTM it was the fact that we ride on the bike, not in it... And this one... Is almost right.. except for that facts....
KTM should make two bikes...One for short legs, and one for long legs...This is not a bike for me... :(

I bought a 2018 1290 Super adventure R and it was the Biggest POS that I've even bought. Multiple bolts loose or lost on the way home from the dealer and for a few days after. Nothing had locktite on it. multiple fuel leaks within the first month due to those shitty . Went through 2 ECU's in the first 2 months. Numerous glitches on the display unit, which had to be replaced on the second week and again 3 months later. Cruise control worked 50% of the time and the Display would freeze up and randomly keep the bike from starting from anywhere from 5 minutes to, in one case, 2 hours. and not to mention your right leg getting roasted all the time. I sold it after 5 months. It was a fun bike when it ran, but I never trusted it not to strand me again.

Technology means problems in adventure - junk all the tech and make simple and reliable bikes or makes some low tech alternatives for those who hate spending time and money with the dealers, great bike and awesome motor but all those electrics are a problem
