Mercedes C-Class Cabriolet in-depth review - Carbuyer

The Mercedes C-Class Cabriolet is a refined, classy and impressively high quality four-seat premium convertible. It looks good, has a fantastic interior and there’s enough space in the back for people to sit reasonably comfortably, too. Its only rival is really the BMW 4 Series Convertible, but unless you really need the Beemer’s sharper driving dynamics, we’d recommend the C-Class.

Rear sits are foldable.

Moreover, you could show what might be packed into a boot with both opened and a closed roof, as well as with folded sits.

The rear sits can be troubling for a person over 180cm, but otherwise are absolutely OK.

Although cabriolet are meant to be practical, but the mercedes comes close (I.E if you dont have friends or family taking the rear seat, and rather ur plus one and some kids or some adult once in a while) its kinda of a good car for its price . p.S good review guys, keep it up :)

One of my favourite cars. Better than BMW or Audi. Although diesels are less popular now depreciate faster. She is a great presenter and really beautiful. Mercedes do have better interior and exterior design than rival brands, more sleek. Elegant. Doubt many convertibles sell in UK. Or you'd buy one for long distance runs to france or spain.

I have one of these (almost identical but the 250d) and I love it. They’ll be even better in a few years when they start to hit the £20-25k mark!

interior needs to be updated with big screen like new e class and upcoming a class, so interior is nice but that cheap plastic screen no mercedes feel

The BMW four series has a hard top, this is cheaper to insure but takes even more boot space. I have an A5 cab which I think is best of the bunch and the petrol TFSI petrol engine is better than the diesel.

I've got to disagree on the interior compared to the BMW and Audi. I've never been a fan of Merc interiors anyway, but their insistence on plonking a cheap tablet with a huge bezel on the dashboard just looks like an afterthought and cheapens the entire interior. I much prefer being in one of its competitors.

I don't think it's an 8 speed auto. It's a 9 speed g tronic which is not as good as the 8 speed ZF. Also that engine is not smooth as you said.... It's quite a rattly old thing.
