Thank you for watching. I am an artist living in the far north of Scotland. My 200 year old cottage is perched on the cliffs and my studio looks out to sea so there is always inspiration in front of me.
I paint in acrylic and oil. I find oil is better for depicting water and sea.

This painting took just 40 minutes and is a quick sketch for you. My normal paintings are more detailed. I used Titanium White, Yellow Ochre, Ivory Black and Burnt Umber.

I have been painting full-time for 10 years.
