Honestly count dooku wisdom on combat is something I am more willing to call him master. He test his student skills, then spots the flaws. He calls them out in a proper volum voice and with understanding teacher words. He may be a sith, but he sure ain't blasting grevious with lighting and shouting.

I like that Dooku mentions that Greivous must use fear, intimidation and surprise when fighting Jedi instead of rage or skill since Grievous is already a powerful opponent he has to disorientate and ambush his opponents so they can't use the force well against him which is something he's very vulnerable to.

This guy is firm, but fair. Lenient, yet strict. The calm before the storm. Experienced and wise. Both a warrior and a scholar. For this I would call him Master and look to him first.

Dooku is one of the few sith who knew how to channel the dark side without giving into rage, fear, and hate. If you look at star wars history the truly great sith figures have been level in control of their emotions and haven't been unduly cruel. Even Kreia in Kotor 2 explains this

I appreciate this version of General Grievous because it highlights his emphasis on speed and fear in order to overcome Jedi adversaries. Unlike a force user, Grievous relies on his quickness and stealth to overpower Jedi who possess kinetic abilities and the foresight to anticipate attacks. Simply put, Grievous outpaces the force itself, requiring him to adopt an unconventional fighting style. While traditional duels involve two fighters standing their ground, ready to sacrifice themselves for their cause, Grievous is not bound by such rules. He cannot afford to play fair; instead, he must remain in constant motion, evading detection by most Jedi. This portrayal of Grievous sets him apart from his counterpart in the Clone Wars animated series, making him a truly distinct character.

I actually liked Count Dooku, he was such a gentle man. He never went overboard, he was balanced and he only turned against the Jedi exactly because they were too stuck up in their hubris and politics instead of actually seeking and destroying Sith Lords.

He's one of the few people that turned to the dark side more out of principle rather than hate, anger, sorrow, maybe that's why he retained much of his character and didn't become a mindless beast driven by hate.

He wanted to show/prove the Jedi how wrong they were in their complacency by becoming what they dismissed as even remotely possible. As a backstory, back when Dooku was young, the Jedi counsel was more preoccupied by politics and they kept dismissing Dooku of an imminent Sith reapperence.

This training fight was immaculate at showing just how splendid of a teacher Doku is. Gives constructive criticism, takes advantage of faults in combat like a normal attacker would, applauds and then humbles Grievous practically in the same breath with that force pull on his leg.

Ya know if general grevious mastered a different one handed lightsaber style for each arm and dual lightsaber combat on top of that he'd be one of if not the most deadly lightsaber combatants ever to live
