Never heard this song before watching an encore rerun of this show during PBS end of year fund drive. This was the highlight of the show and the best thing I've watched/heard in years. Totally blown away. The song writing is on a different level.

I first found Sara when itunes picked Little Voice as the album of the week back in 2007 - I've been a huge fan ever since. I was lucky enough see her In Waitress in London back in early 2020; it was one of the nights of my life! As for Jessie....She's simply glorious and a huge talent. Both are incredible!

I'm a massive Broadway fan and was totally shocked that my favorite part of this show was this song. For some reason was never a Sara Bareilles fan, but ....THIS PERFORMANCE.... this performance... brought me to tears!!! I could hardly watch it for the tears streaming down my face. I felt every single emotion she must have felt when writing it. The ending with Jessie was absolute perfection!!!! Thanks GP!!!

I really don't understand as a vocalist myself why anyone think Jessie is better than Sarah. They're both absolutely amazing. This is not only one of the best but also one of the hardest ballads ever written, there is so much range and switches between different voices it's basically impossible to not strain at one point or another and you have to use it to your advantage. I'm currently rehearsing it for an audition and boy I hadn't encountered a song I had so much trouble with in a years!
