Trump drops US commitment to Israel-Palestine two-state solution

US President Donald Trump has dropped the long-standing US commitment to a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Trump used his first meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to say he would be willing to back one state if both sides agreed.

He also pushed Netanyahu to curb settlement construction.

Given the ineptitude of Trump, and his constant refusal to educate & inform himself on sensitive matters, I very much think he was just winging it during the speech.

Just a few months ago, this man didn't even know what nuclear triad was. I won't be surprised if he just tossed his patented word salad because he didn't know what to say at that given time.

Atleast that's what I am going with. Because there can't be any other explanation to the response he gave in that podium today. I mean, the way he responded, he might as well have walked in a bathrobe with nightcap in his head.

The world better get used to these kind of response from the White House from now on. A 70 yr old man who probably hasn't willingly read a book in his life won't suddenly care to educate himself on the history of Israel- Palestine relationship. He would rather watch Fox and Friends, Hannity, and other late night garbage than read up on the reports submitted by his diplomats, and foreign dignitaries.

So, the sooner you stop looking at white house to give you directions, the quicker it will be to find the way.

And he sports 0% of the intellectual curiosity necessary to read 1 paper with pictures and graphs to even get an elementary understanding of the issue.
