In 2021 for the first time in history a female Filipina athlete won the first ever Olympic gold medal for the Philippines. Sorry for that woman, its too late. Why? because not only a weightlifting is not a popular sports among Filipinos but also that time you won, the country is no longer that big hype and excitement. Hence she did not get a warm big welcome parade from the people and the government. But if that victory happened during the 1970’s or in the 1980’s, she could have gotten a big warm royal welcome parade and appreciations.

Sayang, ni hindi man lang nakita sa parade! Nasa barko kasi at maski mga athletes ay hindi na focus! Maraming nagsabi magulo daw opening!!

Paris 2024 ang pinaka pangit na opening ceremony ng Olympics. I’m so glad I did not waste my time watching this. As time goes by wala ng class at prestige ang Olympics. Kita nyo nga halos wala ng cities ang gustong mag bid para mag host ng Olympics. Gone are the years of the great times in the Olympics (such as 1972 Munich, 1976 Montreal, 1980 Moscow, 1988 Seoul, 1992 Barcelona, and 1996 Atlanta). So pathetic na this time. Ang mga do called great Olympics athletes nitong millenium ay walang wala sa glamour na naranasan noon nila Mark Spitz (1968 and 1972), Nadia Comaneci (1976), Greg Louganis (1984 and 1988).
