It’s a bummer to get old.. but I’m glad I grew up watching Don Kirshner’s rock concert and the midnight special.. people today will never be able to watch that type of TV again ever… times have changed for the worse

Burton Cummings is one of the greatest Canadian rock singers ever. The Guess Who were one of my favorite groups of the late sixties and seventies.

Burton is so under appreciated. What a great voice and great song writer.

I worked with a guy in California and he would play this song over and over. Drove the boss nuts. Haven't heard it in about 40 years.

That was a fun song to hear on the radio as a kid. Burton was in good form here. Cool to see Wolfman Jack doing it live. Just a happy tune from The Guess Who for a Friday!😀

Canadian musical perfection live, on the massively popular USA music show Midnight Special. Just like in America, Canadians would stay up late to see one of the only music TV shows available at that time. Canada's Guess Who appeared many times on the show, including this date March 29, 1974 as hosts. Hope to see more Guess Who appearances including this full show where they played: "American Woman, " "Star Baby, " "These Eyes, " "Clap for the Wolfman"" & "Hand Me Down World".

As an old ret DJ, , , Let me say, , I miss the days of Radio. Yes that wonderful, colorful medium, that can never be matched. It started it all. The likes of 'Wolman Jack" are the Kings of mixing heart and soul with the music. Plus, , , Inventing these Tremendous Characters so many of us grew up adoring, and aspiring to be! 😊 RIP WOLFMAN., , and all those who came before, These Colorful DJ's opened the floodgates for Entertainment, and Worldwide connections. Some of us still remember, , , , and will always love you Big Brother. Great song Burton!!

One of the most underrated bands....Period..

My band opened up for The Guess Who in 1992, when I was 20 years old. Not really knowing their music and only having heard clips of their songs on the “Freedom Rock” commercials on MTV, I asked their guitar player at sound check, (singing) “These Eyes, these eyes have seen a lot of…”, “seen a lot of what?” And he stopped, looked me dead in the eyes, and said “Smoke.” And kept on walkin’. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
