4 Saddest Things About Inside Out 2.

No. 1, Have you ever thought what’s best for Riley’s future career other than a professional hockey player? What if she decided to be an astronaut so that she could go to the moon?

No. 2, Did you know that Joy has a purpose of displaying a Bing Bong action figure in her bedroom? Turns out Joy did this to honor Bing Bong as her hero for saving her life in the first movie.

No. 3, When Anxiety spins so fast like a tornado, she’s basically telling Joy to “catch me if you can”. This portrays how anxiety will ruin your life if you let it take over.

And no. 4, Bree initiates her first move that she can forgive Riley. Then, Grace joins in and the three became friends again. Someone like Bree reminds us that a good friend is a friend that forgives.

The moon is metaphorical. Going to the moon was 3 yo Riley's idea of something to dream about, but as she grows up these ideas change. Bing Bong asking Joy to "take Riley to the moon" is really about having aspirations and fulfilling them - which Riley can do without literally being an astronaut.

Is very interesting to see Riley in her future life to be an astronaut instead of being an ice hockey player. Wait till we see the third part of Inside Out. This is like Riley cares about family and friends in life, so emotional! 😀🙂😊

I portrayed 3 as more of the racing thoughts that come with a panic attack. The tornado is both anxiety pushing harder and harder, working the console overtime, and the inability to see anything clearly as the other emotions are unable to see anything that Riley sees anymore.

I think this is also what the bad emotions flooding into her belief system represent, in that moment and through that panic attack, every awful thing Riley had done, every suppressed mistake and imperfection came flooding back all at once. These memories changed the way she saw herself, the good blurring in with the bad.

I couldn’t manage my anxiety on my own, had to use meds. Been on anxiety meds since around 10, (2011) but about 2 years ago I finally was able to manage my anxiety well enough on my own I no longer need those meds. Stopped getting panic attacks daily and such.

although its important to know that some people dont deserve forgiveness, a good friend forgives when its needed, yes but forgiving everyone can cause problems with people taking advantage of that kindness, its a sad truth that kind people arent treated as they should be

The panic attack was so so genuine it felt like it was happening to me because it has happened to me before and I feel like that and I understand I connect to this. We watch the movie with my parents and let's just say that at least they understood me better after that movie

I’m still around the same age as Riley in the movie and so her panic attack made me almost cry (which I barely do over movies) because of how relatable it was. Definitely one of the best Disney movies to come out recently
