Thanks very much hero for the video. I found a quicker technique that might work for some to get upgrades a little faster. I’m using this on the PS5 version, not sure if that matters. What I have been doing is pulsing for a few seconds to get the first egg. I shoot it and make sure not to boost or go into your inventory and then immediately pulse again for 3 to 5 seconds for the second egg. I then pulse again for about 3 seconds and when you stop you should see and auto save being created in the lower right corner. I then reload auto save and it puts me in space and then I rinse and repeat. Saves time going in the anomaly and then reloading. Hope this helps someone 😁

No need to wait 30 seconds, i just get out of the Anomaly, pulse until i get the first one (like 5 seconds), instantly turn around and pulse to the anomaly again, and get the second one on my way back, all in all takes msybe 30 seconds to get both and reload save :)

Living ships are so fitting for this game. Always my favorites. The view from the cockpit is great too! I don’t pretend to understand the stats for them but they feel faster. Started a new save recently on PS4 and they are also equipped for water landing without a dedicated upgrade..Bonus! lol

Update June 2024: to evolve the upgrades install to a supercharged slot. Then you can just click on them and evolve them (PC). When on the ship inventory, E says to evolve but does not evolve them, it trys to install them. When installed to a regular slot the option to evolve is not there. Once evolved on a supercharged slot, you can move them where you want them. 🙂

I must say after trying this, the portal doesn't seem to function. It's either the glyphs or something else, but every time I try and use the same glyphs, I get stuck on the loading screen.

Aftwr getting almost the exact same upgrades as my main ship, I can confidently say it's only benefit is looks. My living ship pulls 460 mobility and 298 shield with S class upgrades. My main ship pulls 900 mobility and 460 shield. Living ships are only good for warping and looks. That's it.
