There's a guy from MIT that did this long before AI started being used. His little robots were programmed to "learn". They would see a problem, record it, solve the problem, record it, and correct the problem. He had several different robots in different stages. The oldest followed perfectly while the youngest stood in the workshop crying. It was really interesting to watch.

You may be surprised how many malls would LOVE to give you permission! They would just need time to “warn the public” (tape signs to entrance doors) that filming will take place at a specified date.

Attach a charity to it and you would likely make the news.

Charity: Get “My Name Is” stickers. Use auction or sponsors to decide names for the event. The minion who stands the longest wins a banana. All proceeds go to <enter charity here>.

People will complain less if creativity is for a good cause and makes children happy. Maybe even make one mildly magnetic and offer “Bling a minion with magnets” to kids while you set up.

It may also help to have a “front man/woman” organizer NOT on theme (like how Disney characters have handlers at their theme parks) to answer Adult questions and portray “controlled” chaos.

instant suggestion to make them more stable, either design your own or buy some gyroscopic stabilizers, just make a spinning top design, put it in the body somewhere and put a motor to make it spit super fast, keeping it upright will allow for them to still turn but it'd be harder for them to fall over

A TIP FOR YOU ELECTO. If you want to do stunts like this with large stores (like Wartmart) contact their press office. Many businesses/companies are always trying to find new ways of getting into news. Thinking of some kind of new publicity stunt to get into the news. If you put your idea in writing and frame the idea as a PR shunt for them you may get lucky.
