So, basically a “theft” got away with a crime. In addition to stealing a plane, he entered the U.S. in violation of 8 USC 1325 and now is a public figure in TV showing him as a hero. Tomorrow he is applying for EBT card, cash assistance, and Medicaid while we have US veterans homeless on the streets. If I steal a plane, I am sure I will go to jail regardless of the lame excuses. Let’s don’t forget all the FAA violations, pilot without license, medical certificate, and every single airspace violation.
