QANTAS 787 BUSINESS CLASS (International Service on a Domestic Flight)

G’day, my name is Jayden, welcome back to my channel! This was my 61st flight in 2022; in September, I flew Qantas flight QF9 from Melbourne to Perth. QF9 is a service that goes from Melbourne to London Heathrow, but it stops at Perth briefly for a fuel stop, as well as dropping off and picking up some passengers. QF9 is an international service so I flew this domestic segment ‘internationally’. Enjoy the video!

How refreshing to hear the announcements spoken slowly and clearly. It must be hard for people with English as a second language or little English when the announcements are spoken quickly. It is even hard for we elderly English speakers to grasp the message sometimes. Great review, the food looked appetising.

Looks like you certainly had a great experience and as always a quality video!
Certainly an unusual but not entirely unheard phenomena for there to be 'international' domestic flights in Australia. It would be quite interesting to pass through immigration when you are not even leaving your own country. Qantas also started there seasonal Sydney-Perth-Rome flights earlier this year so another chance there to check out the Qantas Dreamliner product on coast to coast flights. Sounds like the slightly added inconvenience of having to go through international security, the shorter check in window and being waved through customs at both ends was well and truly offset by a more superior hard and soft product experience with Qantas!

Love the 787 biz class!! AA used to do some domestic repositioning where you’d be in first or business on 777 or 787 from DFW to MIA, LAS, and others — Always nice and great price! The food looked good and how have you never had an ice cream sandwich!?? LOL FA was nice meeting you know your ticket was “Beautifully presented” HAHA — And OMG Flight Attendant is a great show! 😂

Final destination of the plane is actually London Heathrow where there are codeshared Qantas British Airways flights towards New York JFK and Newark New Jersey from QF9 Melbourne Tullamarine Airport to London Heathrow via Perth
