To me my all time greatest Olympic moment. Perform to the top and compassion to share. Sports unites unlike anything else and THAT is why it is a necessity. Why compassion? Tamberi had gone through a lot - horrible injuries and depression, it was Mutaz who helped him in that time of need. So for him to offer the Gold’s when he could have quite possibly gone toe-to-toe and won, as he is the World No 1, was simply beautiful. I cry everytime I see this.
