If you needed one more reminder to do your civic duty on Election Day (November 5th), let it be this video.
For today, Howard letterpress printed the largest font size of wood type in our print shop to give you one last reminder today to vote. The large “VOTE!” print was made using 30 line pica (5 inch) French Clarendon wood type and the type was made by the Hamilton Wood Type Company in the late 1880s. This was printed with black rubber base ink using our Washington hand press, which was made in 1852.
