When a law student talks about the landmark judgments in India the very first thing that comes to his mind is the famous case of Kesavananda Bharti v. State of Kerala. Kesavananda Bharati case (1973) is also known as the Basic Structure Doctrine Case. It is also known as a 'Case that saved India`s. Democracy'.

It is a significant and the most renowned judgment in the history of our country and of our Indian Constitution - delivered on 24th April 1963 and laid down the Basic Structure Doctrine.
