Stacked fourths is a concept I picked up from the piano player McCoy Tyner, who played with one of my favorite jazz musicians, John Coltrane. I love this type of sound and use it often when soloing, so I thought it'd make sense to make a warm-up out of this. You can use this concept on ANY scale/mode, but I especially love it on dorian mode :)

Awesome! I just tried something similar yet completely different using 4th's on the D and G strings and paddling the open A string. It sounded great! Thanks for sharing your ideas! lot's of possibilities with 4th's that I have not yet explored.

just slow it down with the youtube interface. then you can have: 30, 60, 75, 100 then you can learn it!
