No one can deny they love this Power Up, you feel so powerful when you've got it and feels good to see the ants run in fear. Love to use it both in Mario Kart Wii and the New Super Mario Bros DS Multiplayer

Although the first instance of a large mushroom to crush a lot of things was in MP3, the mega mushroom felt like it was actually first added in NSMB because it was given an item appearance, individual growing sound, and a theme that wasn’t a variant of the invincible theme of that game

The way he says "HERE WE GO!" as he Godzilla's his way through the stage in NSMB is funny. Imagine the Goombas thinking "well... this is the end."
