Remove the racks and place them in a garbage bag spray them with easy off twist up the bag and let them sit in the sun for a few hours. Spray the kettle and put the top on set it in the sun with the racks wait a few hours rinse it all off. No scrubbing required.

Also stick an onion to a fork and rub the racks before cooking your food. Metal brushes can sometimes leave metal residue on the rack and you definitely don’t wanna be eating that 😅

Call me skeptical, but wouldnt the scrub pad scratch the paint? The paint looks brand new.

I spray my grill rack with oven cleaner put it in a blastic trash bag overnight then rinse itboff and washit withndawn then rinse and dry. No scrubbing

If you soak the stuff in ammonia and soap - you have to scrub very little...💅

Ash and water make lye which is caustic and can corrode metal over time, so make sure you dry the grill thoroughly.
