In today's video I want to talk about technical analysis. More specifically, today we will be focusing on the OBV indicator (on balance volume indicator) and OBV strategy and how this can help you make better trading decisions on TradingView. The OBV indicator is a great thing to know when you want to start learning more about technical analysis.

For my experience MFI indicator is much better than OBV and A/D. Set the period to 7 (no noise) or 50 (noise) Combined with 200EMA.

*What I do is use the CCI for divergence and confirm that divergence with OBV. Sometimes the OBV will give a divergence signal but its for a tiny move. In those cases the OBV will not show divergence 99 % of the time.*

I sold an AAPL call and it’s expiring on 08/12 and it’s ITM already and the xdevident is 08/05. In order to close and buy back it’s a lot of money if I let it run to expiration which in past the xdivedent day is there still a chance for the shares to be called away
