I LOVE all the shirts even without the buttons 🥰 proud of you with the sleeves shortened. You have a keen eye for edits. My edits are so much better since I subscribed. I’m getting over strep and the flu. I took apart a piece that I made because YOUR squirrels were in my head to FIX it 😂😂😂 but I got sick but I’m better and those beautiful tops has inspired me and I’m ready to finish. 🥰 appreciate you and your contribution to the sewing community

All4 tops are great!!! I love how you cut the fabric on the bias in the button placket and the yoke. Clever. I need to try it! S8084 fabric is gorgeous. Look forward to seeing it on you!

Beautiful finishing & attention to details! Thank you for sharing this. The bias check placket is fantastic! I'm getting ready to try this pattern, which is how I found your video (a year after you posted) to see how it can look. I like that you kept the curved hem for the long sleeves, and option to not put in the vertical darts. As I feared from past experience, big4 are skimpy on bicep width--I'm similar shape, and think increasing the bicep would be ideal (looks OK, just how to make better!). Also, for version A, due to the "drag" lines, I think the issue is you should have shortened it (above/near the waist) & not a dart issue--something I will need to do too. But it is lovely, and still nicer than anything ready made!! Oh, when you don't have buttons, just use some pins to hold it closed for a showing :-)

Hey Karon, your shirts are amazing and impressive as usual, great job! This is🎉 your butt sister!! I wrote you last week about taking a pair of store bought pants apart and making a pattern from them! We are made up exactly alike! You can also make the legs wider or more narrow, it’s the top part that we need! After all of my frustration I finally found a solution! Measure the front and back crotch and apply the measurements to other pant patterns! I can’t wait for you to make a video and say “look guys, I made some pants!” And I already know that they will be awesome! ❤️❤️❤️

Sizing?
I guess it will be too late but it's Butterick sizing that has me in a pickle. I usually sew Independents and they give more sizing information

I like the black and white one the best. :). I have the pattern and just went to start and realized pages 1-4 of the instructions are missing! Sad face! I don't even know which pieces to cut out.
