A lot of people are saying that these midi machines are ruining music and performance, but if you have more of an insider's view of what he's actually doing during this performance, it's still quite impressive. It really is an artistic choice, whether to do it solo with all the equipment he has or with a full band, but I think that with this setup we can see a more "stream of consciousness" Chet Faker. He has COMPLETE control over what happens to the song. He can turn it into whatever he wants, and I think that's a really cool thing in modern music. As opposed to being in a band and having to deal with three, four, five other people, you can't move as quickly without orchestrating everything. It's different, but I like it a lot.

I didn't even know he made a "mistake" I just remember thinking "omg, he jamming to his own song he is so into it" it makes me like him even more. He's really talented

I love this song so much. It blows my mind. It’s so beautiful. The layers of happy transcendental beats with the solemn lyrics. Chet Faker is just gorgeous.
