45 years ago I was on my bike when a drunk driver hit me. I was in the hospital for a month and couldn't play football again after that. Every few years after the accident I would go to a motorcycle shop, test ride and always find myself not ready to ride again. Fast forward 45 years I buy a brand new Ryker. I'm still nervous and a have a fear but your videos and signing up for the riding class has helped me face that fear. My class is in two weeks and my bike will be delivered Wednesday. I've already read the class manual and watched every video I could find. I've purchased many of the mods you've done so until my class I can at least do the mods and sit in the garage and play like I'm riding :) There is a parking lot very near my house that I could push or trailer the ryker and just practice so I'm considering that. I know at some point I will need to get on the road and I know I can do that. Once again, thanks for the videos, they are an inspiration.

My MSF instructor taught us to just “roll on the throttle“. Has worked out very well so far.

This one of the best channels. Best two for ryker content are this one and that guy C8pate. Keep up the good work

Thank you for this! I just got my Ryker and I was worried about the clunk! Glad it’s nothing to be concerned about and glad there’s something I can do to avoid it!

I just got my used (only 185 mileage on 2019 Ryker yesterday (12-13-2024), I posted a video of this gorgeous thing and how I ride it back home in a storm by the way. The clunk got me worried for sure, this helps so much!

Beth I was told if you roll it backwards a bit before you go forward it won’t clunk and it does work.

Thanks for addressing this Beth! This is one of the biggest questions I see on the Ryker pages.

Hi, would you mind doing a video showing what your Ryker does on shutting down, and the correct procedure?. I love your channel, great stuff. xxx

Good job. I get the same question with the Spyder and it’s completely normal. Good job!

Beth,
I hear a noise like a fender rubbing a tire. My son swears it’s the belt hitting housing, it’s on the left side and I don’t think it’s the air intake. It’s got almost 13000 miles on it. Not sure if the belt had ever been changed. It goes away at high speeds. Do you think I should put a new belt on spark plugs ? I changed the oil today, and 2 new k/n air filters. Your videos are life savers for us in TN + VA. No Rykers really here yet. Side by sides and 4 wheelers everywhere!
