The BMW Z1 is the strangest modern BMW -- and most people have never even heard of it. Today I'm reviewing the BMW Z1, and I'm going to show you why the BMW Z1 is so weird.

Seems like Doug likes to exaggerate how difficult it is to get into some cars; but then again, he is 19 feet tall.

You totally missed one of the weirdest and quirkiest features of this (or any) car. The rear muffler was shaped like an aerofoil and acted like a rear spoiler to provide down force. That’s what the gigantic air gap between the trunk lid and the rear bumper is for. It allows the air that flows over the top of the muffler/spoiler to exit the rear of the car
