This isn't a new feature but one that I have always liked.

This is a helpful vid, thanks. I've been a Pro Tools user for many years and used to use the strip silence function, like it was second nature (muscle memory). I didn't quite know how to perform the same function on Logic Pro X until now.

Wow, great stuff; love these powerful little "here's a cool feature at work!" vids, thank you! So, how to get this sample set into Alchemy or some other plug-in, exactly? Is it saved in a folder somewhere automatically? And is this exactly the same as slicing some non-scalar set, like a beat loop, I.e., 12 or however many detected samples each on its own key and no additional mapping or assigning of root pitches?

Tried to follow this today and I couldn't get the same drop-down menu you do at 0:48; there's no Convert to New Sampler Track entry on mine (10.3) but just hitting ^E eventually did the trick:) Wonder why my menu's different? My first 5 entries are Slice at Transients, Mute on/off, Bounce, Convert to New Audio File, and Join; the others below that are the same.

Is Macbook Pro, core i7, 16gb ram enough for running logic smoothly, when scoring for movies with big kontakt samples ??
