How do you paint them so perfectly?! The video makes it look extremely easy to prevent it from pooling in the corners of the nail and cuticles. This always happens to me no matter how much I practice.

I so love the finish and longevity of gel, but my nail beds can’t tolerate the light. It got so bad that it hurt to wash my hair, and they became very discolored as they turned an unattractive shade of dark yellow. This was a few yrs ago, so do you think the technology of the lighting may have changed since then? I always thought they bulbs were the same, and it never occurred to me to ask whether they were led or not.

Any advice?

Can someone pls confirm whether you can add nail tips and do the same method safely? I tried poly gel but it takes too long so I kinda wanna skip the poly gel application and just add a tip, shape it and add a gel color and be done with it! 😩

What a great tutorial! It took me a long time to get my gel polish to come out this well. I always use pH Bond too (it’s a dehydrator), it helps so much. I only use primer for nail extensions. For me, the bunching happens when I put the gel on too thick. Better 3 thin coats than 2 thicker coats with bunching.

Just a tip . Don’t put cuticle oil on your gel nails it dulls them. Just apply to the cuticle and rub upwards.

This helped me a lot. I did mine for the first time last night. However, I didn't do the alcohol step or primer that you did at the beginning. Also, I didn't know about capping the edge. Now, I do!! Thank you so much!!
