Great summary - the lower specifications, superseded models, overpricing and European car manufacture arrogance has not helped these French brands. I would contemplate one if it was more seriously positioned in the market.

The answer is simple - European manufactured cars simply cannot compete on price with Chinese made ones. Also, just a correction on the e-2008 - the one sold here in May was the pre-facelift, and the one in Europe was post facelift. Both are second gen Peugeot 2008's.
