One Look at that Blade and my Resting Heart Rate went Right Up.
That Blade is Perfectly Designed for Self Defence and Utility. Really Nice.

Right off the bat, as soon as I saw it I noticed an immediate flaw.
The drill hole between the blade and handle is an obvious stress point . Any stress will firstly cause a failure in that area and the blade could snap in two .

Those "wings" near the hole could have been extended down a bit to add thickness around the hole, this would have solved this

Great find and excellent advice. A double-edged just like that is exactly my first choice, always. Thank you!

I've been wondering about that knife. "Thank you" for showing us just exactly what it looks like in the hands! Your videos are great and your taste and price range, is right up my alley! Not many reviewers (very "few") keep the budget minded in mind! Well, here's to another knife " bought" from your reviews. You, Gruggs and a couple more Tubers, are what keep me from going to the poor house but, still get what I like!!!

Thank you again brother! I was going to buy the recent smith Wesson you reviewed but now I gotta get this canku too! I got my first self defense EDC knife- a blackjack mamba folder in the 80’s after a close encounter with a knife wielding guy back then, and have carried dozens of different folders since- but you’re helping me realize that the double edge fixed blade is better for defense where I can carry one- like at home and on my property. Can’t do it in town because of strict knife laws.

Only discovered you about a week ago, whilst researching my 1st slingshot. Great informative videos. Love the presentation. I like the fact you review cheaper alternatives to big names too. I went with the amazon scout xt copy, just to see if its for me. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing. 👌

Just bought this knife. It has one drawback. If your fingers slip behind those notches (in the middle of the grip) it will literally fly away from your hand. So right grip is extremely important. I would recommend either wrapping the grip with a grip tape, or whet I did I put my own serrations on the metal part of the grip.

The dagger i use is serrated on one side. The serrations are really good for a backward pull cuts to the inside of the thigh, wrist, back of the knee etc. Goes through denim like a laser.

I kind of want to get this particular blade just for the cool factor and to have it in my collection.

Also I just want to add on to what you were saying about serrations causing pain. It's not about serrations causing pain that isn't really that much of a factor in a life-or-death struggle/ self-defense situation. The thing with any serrated self defense blade isn't about causing pain it's more so about causing a large amounts of flesh trauma. Basically causing lots of damage to the muscles i.e. flesh and causing there to be profuse and intense bleeding. And in the case of punch daggers if one side has that dagger like grind on it and the other side is just flat supposedly that blade shape is meant to cause the wound to actually stay open thus causing it to continue bleeding.

A little off topic but hopefully a helpful tip. I've purchased a few knives lately, Masalong/Canku and others, that I wasn't completely satisfied with Neck knife retention, although most were fine. A good remedy that I discovered was to put a small well cut piece of Hockey tape on the inside of the plastic sheath. Works like a CHARM!😉😊

That would be a good one for a bugout bag since it would be easy to turn into a spearhead. Unfortunately in my state you can't legally carry a double edged blade.

Would love to see u do a video on push daggers. Cold steel makes some great push daggers that are easy on the pocket book as well. Push daggers make great defense knives, is a matter of fact they've gotten me out of a pinch a few times. Would appreciate it, Thank you.
