I’m a registered nurse and I have also had three medically complicated pregnancies that required increased medical care. The solution to medical complications as a result of pregnancy that threaten the life of a mother is (sometimes) delivery of the baby (not always, sometimes just extra medical attention and treatment). Murder of said baby is NEVER required. These complications nearly always spring up after the point of viability (20+ weeks) and nearly all pregnancies can make it that long before delivery, even if that means hospitalization of the mother for a time. But even though I had multiple complications with all my pregnancies, including bed rest and, early induction, cesarean, blood thinners, bi-weekly ultrasounds and stress tests, frequent blood tests, pulmonary embolism, etc…never was murdering my babies even brought up as an option. So these people who claim they need to murder babies to save mothers’ lives can shove it, because I am living proof that that never needs to be done.

From my understanding, if a pregnancy has the mother's life in danger, all that's needed is to deliver the baby. If it dies during childbirth or can't survive outside the womb, that's terrible, but there have been several instances where very premature babies have survived. It's not a guarantee that the child will die. But it is when performing the alternative procedure. It's the difference between murder and natural death.

The woman who spoke about the sanctity of choice is talking out of both sides of her mouth. In the same way that you can serve God and mammon, you can't be pro-life and pro choice at the same time. She needs Jesus to settle the matter for her.

2:48 I suppose with "unclean" you refer to the horror of it, because I am willing to concede that those butcher shops adhere to all medical and cleanliness regulations that exist, it is the defilement of both mother and child that makes it unclean. (Not taking away from the complicity of the mother in the murder)

Evangelical Christ followers must never sanction "pro choice" as safe, or sacred, in the context of taking the life of the un-born child-- who was "knit together in their mother's womb" in the power of Almighty God through the Holy Spirit.

Pro-choice in this context is wickedness. Sanctioning the practice of abortion is wholy inconsistent with being a Christ follower.

Imagine for a moment justifying the death of a baby because it was an inconvenience. Then imagine using how guilty and sad you felt as a defense for how difficult the choice was and for sympathy. Sickening.

This woman clearly has no shepard/pastor guiding her and needs to find a new church OR (& my guess this is more likely) she's never truly been born again and there is no Holy Spirit in her. The only way I'd believe a truly regenerated Christian could be THIS ignorant, would be if they are brand new Christians, and this topic hasn't been broken down/dismantled yet in their early walk. I highly doubt they chose "baby" Christian's for the video, so that tiny possibly is very unlikely. Its disheartening such people claim to follow Christ, yet know nothing of what it means to live for Him.
