Thirty-five halftime shuffle videos under my belt, and you are the first to really show the details and how to get past the unnatural-feeling part. I was playing these grooves wrong forever, then have been hung up on the grace notes before accents and the “not flamming” parts. Thanks for the detail and the suggested exercise. Awesome!

Great playing and teaching. The first drummer I saw do a half time shuffle was Buddy Rich, way before the others were born. That was 50 years ago when I met him. Keep up the amazing attitude!

I don't play drums, I'm a guitarist- but I really appreciate your channel and the lessons you're giving. I do the same thing with Scott's Bass Lessons, it gives me insight into other musicians.
