TW SHAKING EFFECT AND FLASHING

I’ve been working on this for the past 3 weeks or so and I’m so happy I was able to get it done in time! Two years ago I uploaded my first completed map, centered around Tigerstar and Leopardfoot. The map will always be held dear to my heart for sentiment, and so I decided to make a little something for its anniversary!

Even though stuff has happened since then, the project is still one of my proudest, and even though I haven’t branched further into my au (if that’s what you want to call it) I still love thinking about what I can do with the story that canon decided to leave out. It’s fun to expand on ideas that haven’t been expanded on in the books, and even ones that have!

I should also mention that in this PMV (and my way of telling the story in general) Pinestar and Leopardfoot are A LOT closer in age.. like… a lot to make it less weird.. just thought I would throw that out there

A: To draw I use Procreate, and to edit I use CuteCut Pro and CapCut! I use a mixture of Procreate and CuteCut to animate!

It's frustrating to see how forgotten Leopardfoot is in the fandom considering that she literally gave birth to Tigerstar, THE main villain of the whole series.
I wish we could have a novella about her about being in Starclan or something and witnessing her son becoming the monster that caused so much harm amongst the clan for years.

Man I feel so bad for Leopardfoot. Her mate abandons her right after she gives birth, two of her kits die shortly after they’re born, and her only surviving kit grows up to be a cat warlord who betrays his own clan and then tries to destroy it.

I’ve always loved her. She became a mother at such a young age- only to be left alone with her child, who constantly acted up. Her mate leaving her because he was anxiety-full and driven to the kittypet life. I remember her being a apprentice at the start of blue stars novel. Pine’star was, well, already pine’star. And she fell in love with him, without him really feeling true love. He was scared, and didn’t know what to feel.. she raised tiger’kit alone, only to see him become a terrible cat.

And when you think about it- tiger’star grew up in a broken family. His dad leaving him, and his mom trying her absolute best. There could have been more meaning put into this bringing up for the main series villain.

I find it devastating how when she was giving birth to her kits she was reportedly begging to have pinestar by her side.

Her story is honestly heart breaking .

Pinestar is my favorite leader, partly because I love his flaws... it was tragic how he got Leopardfoot pregnant only to abandon her for the kittypet he truly loved, and how Leopardfoot would never be able to understand this... surely the ThunderClan leader didn't fall in love with a kittypet? Their icy relationship is super interesting to me.

Leopardfoot is startong to grow on me as a character, and this PMV seems to highlight the things Leopardfoot had gone through in the book! Both her shaky relationship with her mate, and her terror of watching her only son grow up to be a monster. ;-; 💖✨ Also I love you made Pinestar's design more similar to Tigerstar in a way! ^^

Ok. Everytime I see something like this, I'm always like "hey wow I just got into that song a week ago" or something. this happens pretty often for you guys too, you'll get into a new creator and a week later your friendly neighborhood animators have animated the song.
I have a theory: the animators are on the same wave length as you are, your subscribed to them, because your kind of into half the songs they animate, and they animate more of the same genre of songs you like wow what a mind blower.

It's so cool to see content of underrated characters like Leopardfoot! The pink background is super fun and the whole video kinda gives me 50s/60s retro housewive vibes (bc of our girl here). This PMV made me realise how much pain she went through in her life - I'm interpreting the "Toss your dirty shoes in my washing machine" as Pinestar treating she/their relationship badly and taking his family for granted while not realizing how much he hurts them kinda? The song suits Leopardfoot, especially the "Why not me?" part is sad to think about but I love the way you made her irises move and how you used pictures to indicate what Pinestar is saying. I kinda wish your PMV would've included a scene with Leopardfoot and her parents/sibling or Bluefur but I know it might not be too suitable for this song. Last but not least I find the shift to creepy at the very end with Tigerpaw/claw nice and Leopardfoot looks like she's now being concerned about her son but also doesn't wanna be a bad mom by believing the others that he's "evil".
