A man in his 30s who stole a vehicle from a North Side home on Wednesday was shot and killed after the owners of the pickup truck tracked it down on the Southeast Side and took matters into their own hands, according to San Antonio police.

I am not sure the County Grand Jury will return an indictment. Even if it did, the DA would probably have a wobbler of a case. It's Texas and there's not a lot of tolerance for felonious thievery.

Honestly you can bet the truck owner went to the law first, once the truck owner realized that the law wasn’t going to do a damn thing as usual. Well I would have done the same damn thing if it was my vehicle. So yeah the truck owner is a hero in my book. Honestly what makes law abiding citizens so dangerous is the fact they don’t bother anyone. Respect them and they respect you. Otherwise there’s a graveyard with your name on it. Honestly if fool’s would respect other people then this wouldn’t happen. Unfortunately we live in a very evil and wicked world where our government is corrupt and our law is as useless as tits on a boar hog. Honestly we had a code of conduct at one point and time before we let this nation go to Hell. People was more civilized. Thats really cute how police recommend you dont take matters into your own hands.

But The Alsip Illinois PD couldnt be bothered to retrieve my brothers stolen tools from a flea market in their town after a tile locator pinged that location, so guess what I did?

I took matters into my own hands and got the tools back myself and put a scare into the asswïpes in possession of them.

this should be LEGAL btw. car thieves should assume every car is tagged and if they steal it, they will soon be confronted either by police (unlikely) or an armed militia to retrieve the stolen property. they can exit the vehicle peacefully or resist and be neutralized.

After my truck got broken into multiple times I also hid a tag on it. This would have also been the outcome had anyone been dumb enough to steal it. I hope this happens more often until the SAPD can get car break-ins and thefts under control. Maybe the thieves will start to think twice.

Why? Its not like SAPD or any other local agency does a fkin thing about the rampant vehicle thefts. If “law enforcement” would do their job, citizens wouldn’t feel the need to pick up the slack, and theres a lot of it.
