John Bowermaster has traveled the world for the past 25 years writing and making films that tell environmental stories. At TEDx Albany 2013, John delivered an impactful talk entitled, "Green Media Can Make a Difference."

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Thanks so much for this TED talk.  More and more we hear about how dangerous tracking is for our future.  If we had heard about fracking soon enough and it was made more clear how bad tracking is, would we be able to affect change. Yes! Companies need to be straight with the public. How about if the companies put their expertise and money to alternative energies. Why are we considered a planet that has not emerged from a zero energy planet. Let's move on to better a environments and look at the documentary on U-tbe also!

Start spending the billions in the fossil fuel industry to convert to renewables....this is a short-term solution of the Gas Industry;  We need to use less or none of fossil fuels....thanks, for spreading the info about the dangers of Fracking...
