Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker while visiting Italy, probably in 1953.

It contains stock footage of Venice: city panoramas of Punta della Dogana and St. Mark’s Square while arriving by motorboat, a gondola passing under the Bridge of Sighs, people walking in St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Clock Tower, a group of priests in the courtyard of the Doge's Palace, boats and gondolas in the San Marco basin, scenes from a gondola ride on the Grand Canal, the Rialto Bridge, and more.
