Omg this review is so good! 😂Thank you for the pronunciation tips hahah I am not a native English speaker, so when I was reading I was pretty sure I got most of the pronunciation wrong, but I'm happy to know someone agrees with me regarding CHAOL. And I would also add that to me Celaena has Regina George vibes, some parts of this book and the second felt like Mean Girls mixed with Victorian Era (or whatever time in history they're supposed to be).

Just finished this series overall series was amazing to me. The first few books were rough but the ending where SJM she brings it around is just amazing. The concept of the story is amazing but agree the writing is rough. If you continue the series I can’t wait to see what you think of my favorite character in the series. They don’t show up until Heir of Fire.

I am trying for the second time to get through this series. There are so many unnecessary side quests and nonsense details. I enjoy ACTAR but this isn’t enemy to lover or slow burn or thought provoking. Anyhow, your breakdown makes it so much better!
