Chloe Chua plays finale from Bruch

16-year old Singaporean violinist Chloe Chua performs the finale of Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1 with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, where she has been Artist-In-Residence for the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.

In an interview with Symphony 924 a few days ago, Chloe said that although she had been preparing for her performances of the "Butterfly Lovers" violin concerto with the SSO on 10 and 11 November, she had also been sitting her O' level exams - and still had one more exam to go.
She is already such a wonderful violinist that one forgets how young she is.
That she has been able to give to us this Bruch, and other such similarly superb performances, whilst having to work around the demands of schooling, is truly remarkable.
