I’m sure, at some point in our lives, we have all dreamed of winning the lottery. After all, being able to afford virtually anything you could possibly imagine is very tempting. Though, we have to be careful about what we wish for because everything is not as it seems. Sudden wealth can easily go to a person's head and lead them to make very poor decisions. More often than not, when a person manages to win millions of dollars, they can blow all of the money before they have a chance to properly invest it. Long ago when I was much younger I would, like many people, imagine what I’d love to do if I suddenly had instant wealth from a lottery. Latter, I decided to contemplate all the likely misery I would face winning a large sum of money. I could easily contemplate a change in my life that looked more like a nightmare then a wonderful dream. It’s the old axiom, be careful what you wish for, you may get it. I never envied lottery winners after hearing how many lost most, if not all of their winnings and in the end created anger, breakups and disharmony in their own families and lost friends. I really learned how important and valuable critical thinking is.

I'd buy a nice house and furnish it handsomely, I'd buy two nice cars (not Ferarris), buy two nice guitars, buy a new wardrobe, do some traveling, and invest the rest.
