As someone coming from a Python background, these tutorials have really helped me to learn Java! I really like the style of them, and I think they would also make clear sense to someone completely new to programming. I also really like the shorter form of the tutorials, as in the past some videos i have seen have been either 1 hour or several hours long. The shorter video length really helps to both give a sense of progress and achievement and also make it more accessible for shorter learning sessions.

I feel like now would have been a good time to introduce &&. I'm playing with what I learned, and had to ask GPT for that revelation so I could play with boolean variables being a < b but also > c. In my case, I did it imagining health points.

I think I lean towards "isNotSometing" rather than "!isSomething" because when you see 2-3 different booleans in one If statement, it gets had to understand what it's checking pretty fast.

you guessed it, true. Kaupenjoe, what you don't know about me is I am actually a primordial being. Thank you for the tutorial

These tutorials are easy to understand for me, even though I'm Japanese.
Modding tutorials translated in Japanese aren't uploaded on the Internet so much.
So I have been learning from English tutorials lately.
I wanna be able to create my own mod.
I'm sorry for not being good at English.

I've been wanting to make a fabric mod based of the staff from alan beckers AvM series. with these tutorials at this rate, I'll be making progress in no time. WOO!

Having a pretty good idea about coding in general, and a really good understanding on how computers work. I had to watch that last bit where you explained that it returns a Boolean 3 times because my brain was like "Ofc it works like that why is he explaining this I must be missing something"

Love the videos so far, thank you a lot for the separated videos instead of clumping everything into a single 2 hour video, it makes it harder to commit to watching the whole thing.

As my objective is to make both of the begining booleans true, i have now commented :)

One way you can think about the "failedClass = passedClass == False;" line is saying something like asking "Ok is passed class equal to false?" which should, in your mind say "Yes" aka "True". So assigning a variable "failedClass" to that result that you determined (being True) is essentially how I like to think of that. I also, in my mind, think of == as saying "Is equal to" or "Equals to"

I love these tutorials. However as some feedback I wanted to comment that its a shame you didn't use the Scanner in this part of the tutorial. You already covered the Scanner a bit on the previous part and it would have been a great extension use here. It's always more fun to learn coding when you can do something more impactful things with the code itself than static values.

Is it just me or is Java literally just a reskin of C# (aside for that scanner thing)
