Anyone worried about a lack of Rafa, Serena, etc… who hasn’t watched Drive To Survive, don’t worry. DTS’s best episodes don’t revolve around Hamilton and Verstappen - it’s at its peak when looking at those further down the grid.

This is a little too late for Tennis, should have been done in Rafa~Roger~Novak in their absolute prime not to forget Murray~Stan~Cilic~Delpo supporting cast. These guys walked the walk before talking the talk can't really say the same abt NextGen.

Edit~ Murray just beat Berettini AO 1st round in 5 sets. Guy is legit playing with a metal hip.

Finally Tennis getting the worldwide attention it deserves! Not that it didn’t get it before, but this might open it up to a whole new area & generation of ppl.
Disappointed that we won’t get a Rafa-Novak episode, they won 3/4 slams. Clearly they’ve been the next gen for the past 6+ yrs! Ppl have been talking abt Rafa & novak leaving & retiring for ages now, yet they’re the most dominant players to ever live.
Hope Rafa gets in on this deal & gets an entire show on his season, it’ll b massive!
Maybe Netflix wasn’t able to afford Rafa & novak :’)

Looks so good!! I think it’s smart move for Tennis as a sport to start investing in new characters and personalities. Anyone who really appreciates tennis knows that this group has great variety of personalities and play styles. I’m excited for what this means for tennis!

An entire 2 seconds of World no.1 who won 2 grand slams, 8 titles overall, more than 11 000 points in rankings and had 37-match winning streak, beating both streaks of Williams sisters.
Yea, let's focus on multiple shots of Kyrgios, Tiafoe and Williams. They won an entire one ATP 500 combined.

These players are great ! They work hard and it’s wonderful to have some spotlight on them, I will forever love Federer Nadal and Djokovic but it doesn’t mean this doc is not good if they are not featured. They pave the way for these players and it’s a wonderful thing !

Before the tournament, Netflix released a great reality show Break Point, which follows tennis players on the Tour in 2022. Nick Kyrgios, Ajla Tomljanović, Paula Badosa, Carlos Alcaraz, Matteo Berrettini and Taylor Fritz are the main characters in the documentary, but almost all of them had incredible bad luck before the tournament.

Kyrgios, Tomljanović, Badosa and Alcaraz withdrew from the Australian Open due to injury, Berettini out of 1st round, and the only one left was Taylor Fritz. The "curse of Netflix" bypassed him and he successfully passed the 1st round against Nikoloz Basilashvili. It was 3:1 in sets for the American.
