I used to live with a friend whose male pitbull was exactly like this. When I laid on the couch I barely had any room. I was okay with it.

Ooooohh I had a beautiful staffy girl I rescued who did the exact thing. Most time she lay on me with her paws on my shoulders or she'd rest her gorgeous little head under my chin. And I didn't even really like watching tv until her 💕

There perfectly comfortable and mentally stimulated enough just by spending time with them and letting them be part of the family. They don't develop bad habits from not walking them enough or stimulating them enough unless you leave them locked up or alone alot. If someone is always home and they have run of the house and feel loved and part of the pack they will thrive. Exercise and walks are still very important though obviously. There so easy to spoil and love on.
