our FAMiLY CHRISTMAS TREE!! Niko Learns to decorate ornaments and Adley makes magic holiday potion!

Best Christmas Tree Day Ever 1046

It’s December!! Which means two things at our house. First, the Elf on a Shelf is here to keep an eye on Adley and Niko bear and second, to bring treats as we countdown to Christmas! Adley was super surprised this morning because the elf brought her a full size candy bar! She got so excited, we had to get Niko out of bed to show him!!

The elf was wonder, why we don’t have a Christmas tree?!! So today we’ve got to fix that. The whole family helps bring up ornaments and the tree! Adley can’t wait to get started, we start pulling out all sorts of memories we have on ornaments, like when we got the dogs, or the kiddos’ first Christmas! Jenny finds a toy Christmas tree that the kids can play with whenever they want. Maybe we should put it in the toy room?

I find an old money purse I got while in Honduras, and Adley discovers a hidden treasure inside! We start looking for more treasures when Adley finds a Frozen Elsa and Olaf ornament that gives her the idea to make Christmas magic potions! So we go to the table and get to work on the challenge of making a new holiday potion!!

Later in the day, when it gets dark ,we want to give the tree lights a test run. So we turn off all the lights and plug in the tree! It’s beautiful and Baby Niko loves it! We end the night having some family fun playing hide n seek in the dark!!
