i find it funny you committed to stringing a $200 racket with some 7kg tension AND paint both string matrices with the Victor logo lol, this is such a fun video idea

We better see a test for racket diminishing returns — racket prices of 10, 50, 100, 150, 200 all strung the same with your preferred strings.
Next test could be the other way around — your preferred racket and then varying strings at your preferred tension.

2 points of feedback:
1st, I wouldn't say the 5/10 average racket "definitely" beat the 4/10 of the bad strings, as it's well within margin of error (6:45).

2nd, You are effectively comparing different tensions instead of strings. You should string them the same tension for a fair test.

Some cheap strings actually can handle quite high tension (but most won't last long), so it's a fairer test to string them as high as they will go without snapping, so that both are strung the same (e.g. both 24lbs if the cheap string can't reach 30lbs).

You strung the cheap racket that had 18lbs max spec to 30lbs, so you compared both rackets at 30lbs, which is fair. Just need to do the same with strings.

i feel if you re testing string quality you should do so with same tension. since the accuracy test results were decided by tension and not the string quality itself

Thanks for doing this! Most important factor is the cost. As a high school student there was no way my parents could buy me a $250 racket and $35 string (Canada). Lower barrier is the string so I got a medium racket and good strings which still would have been half the cost of the good racket alone. I’ve always said strings are more important for most people because of play quality but mostly for cost.

this comparison could have profitted from adding the bad racket + bad strings and good racket + good strings baseline :)

Hey. Can you do a review about Thruster F Ultra? I was thinking to get into Thruster F based on one of your old videos, and noticed there is a new F Ultra.

I recently upgraded from a 20 year old Prokennex that my 15 year old self could afford (at about 15lb I think), to a Victor Brave Sword 12L at 24lb, and I cannot WAIT to try it out, I've been so frustrated with the old racquet that I just can't get any power out of!

Thank you for convincing us that buying an expensive racket is generally better. Now to send this video to the wife....

the net cord tests showed string tension really matters to make a tumbling net shot.

Great video! I learned a lot from the insights you shared. This is definitely a professional perspective, but I think most players and viewers are at an amateur level. It would be amazing if you could make another video with an amateur player testing and rating the setups. Maybe you could try it with three setups: 1) a pro racket with pro string, 2) an intermediate racket with pro string, and 3) a beginner racket with pro string. Thanks for the valuable content!
