Outstanding book! A must have! Plantain is great to chop and drop in the gardens also. Outstanding plant. Great video Al. Everyone should have a hard copy reference library in these days. You just never know about things and ways in our world today.

I buy plantain as a powder for a natural fiber. It's quite expensive. I would love to make it myself. Our plantain grows mostly in our driveways.

Looks like another great book for my growing library. Our family rarely use herbs, and majority of herbs we never use or don't know how it's being use. I pre-ordered by book and looking forward to learn something new too. Thanks Al!

A Tickle me plant ad just popped up. I used to have Mimosa growing, they are fun. Olivia would like them. I saved seeds and grew more from them. Pretty puffy pink blooms. Gave the last plant away.

I love my Yes, I rip some out, but then they get used, dried for tea, made into and yes, plantain is the best for bee stings and it's right there when I need it 😊
Dandelion, purslane, chickweed, lambsquarter,
Need to grow stinging nettle yet!

Make sure you make the window boxes big enough. We can't do window boxes here as they dry out too fast in summer. The bigger they are the more moisture they hold so grow herbs there that like it on the dry side. With lots of love from chilly, rainy ☔and windy Arizona 67/41f today.

Looks a great read. Will have to put it on my birthday wishlist. Calendulas also makes a great companion plant for tomatoes. They are good at keeping aphids at bay. The petals are also great on salads.
