Why should it be shocking? 5000$ per month isnt sooo expensive if you consider he bought his 3 year old daughter a rolls royce.

$5k is a steal to have a professional chef making home cooked meals everyday

There used to be a nice mom who offered to cook breakfast (with coffee), lunch and a snack 5x a week for $80 (including delivery) at my old job, she did this service for people at the office building I worked at. She was awesome and she would cater to what you liked to eat. She got deported though 😔

My friend was a private chef for a billionaire. She was earning 5 figures a month, because she was always on call. He needs a dinner for 6, on his yacht, in 2 days. Or a fancy dinner for 40 for his wife's birthday. She needs to research the guest list, contact their Assistants if there's any allergies, make up a menu, use her contacts to get the ingredients together and maybe a sommelier to choose the wines. And be packed to fly to wherever the yacht was docked in the world via her bosses private jet to prep the dinner.

She rarely did home dinners. Unless his wife wanted her help prepping something difficult.

Lucrative, but don't expect to have your own home life.

My current Financial standing is I'm lucky if I have $100 in my bank account but for some reason $5, 000 a month doesn't seem that expensive

I have no money but is it weird that $5000 doesn’t seem to expensive bearing in mind the chef is making roughly 372 meals a month

This makes sense. My parents were diplomats and hired a family chef. We paid 500 dollar a month which wasn't much for us but good compared to local salary. We didn't bother eating out much and entertained alot. Also the cook we had kept the kitchen/pantry cleaned and stocked. There was always fresh made ice t or lemonade. And he prepared our school lunches as well

Bro if you have the money to even consider a private chef, 5k is so ridiculously cheap. It's like you have a person who dedicated his entire life pursuing the art of cooking, of perfecting his skills in the kitchen, and he's there making your food 3 times a day for an entire month. That's so fucking worth it.

5k a month is the cheapest private chef I have ever heard of. That's like hiring a cook out of chipotle lol

I like how graham had to sneak in “same amount” there because he doesn’t want to go by percentage of net worth lol

I had a great private chef. He worked for me and two of my neighbors. We each paid him $4000. He worked long hours 4 days a week and cooked all the meals and filled the fridge with food for 6 days a week. Definitely worth it. He would cook for about a dozen people for the 3 families.

"I bet we could, if we all went in the same amount between 4 people" A real genius right there.

I hired a private chef when I quit my jobs and went overseas for a few years in my early 30s.

Was a housekeeper. The personal chef to one of my clients lived in their guest house, take home was $3900/month and had a part time "passion job". Some of these positions can be really cushy.

Doesn’t include the grocery bills fellas.

I think they are forgetting, you still have to pay for all the upscale ingredients, produce, and meats the chef uses; unless you want to pay a private chef to make you spaghetti and hamburger helper for 5 grand a month—it’s not that cheap.

This fool Graham bro. You have 5k a week for a private chef

5k a month is like 35 bucks a hour with a 40 hr work week
