In this video I share how I create my time lapse video clips. First I shoot a simple static shot of sunrise and then later on I share how I set up advanced 3 axis equipment to create motion in the shots. Thanks to Sony Alpha for loaning me the a7siii to try out and film this video with. As well as the A7RIV to use for timelapse. The video is not paid for or sponsored.

Looks like an amazing landscape for patterns and foreground cracks. Another great video Michael 👍 that last TL at the end was sweet. Glad you re-shot it with better clouds/light.

I was just through that same area back in June. For me the best part of that kind of terrain is the amount of interesting features you can capture in a single shot. If I go to a beautiful forested hillside, most of my view is going to be obscured by trees and foliage. Which can be nice in it's own way, but it doesn't compare to the breadth of the vistas the moab desert gives you access to.

Thanks for sharing some of the setup portions. I have gone through your entire tutorial and enjoyed it, I put it to use each time out. I really liked the Sony built-in intervalometer, I found it to be easy to setup and very accurate, especially for scenes with no motion control.

I really liked your video. This is the first time I have watched your video. I went out there a couple of years ago and I drove by the Butte. At the time I was not impressed. Since then I have watched several videos and now I realize how awesome the Butte and that area as well. I am planning to go out there next year. Thanks for sharing your video.

You're amazing! Your timelapse videos several years ago inspired me to learn more about landscape photography. Now I'm doing the first steps in making videos, and your artistry is a true benchmark for me! Thank you!
